When this is the right tool

Milestone birthdays where a generic activity would feel like filler. Retirement send-offs after long careers. Bachelor and bachelorette parties. Anniversaries (5th, 10th, 25th, 50th). Baby showers. When this isn’t the tool

Pub trivia for strangers, corporate team-building at scale, or general-knowledge quizzes — those need a different shape and aren’t in v1. We don’t do audio rounds, image rounds, real-time phone-joining like Kahoot, or operator-edited content (the questions are what we generate, not edited). And we won’t invent facts about the honoree, so an empty form gets you nothing useful — the more specific your facts, the better the game.

Questions

How fast does the game arrive?
Typically under a minute after Stripe confirms payment. You land on the order page and watch the live status; when it flips to ready, the live host slideshow URL and the printable PDF both appear there.
What if a question feels off, or the grounding lint catches something the model invented?
The pipeline already enforces it: every question is checked against the facts you supplied, and if too many fail the grounding lint the pipeline retries once and then auto-refunds your order rather than ship a game built on invented details. You don’t have to ask.
What’s your refund policy?
Two situations get you a one-click refund from the order page, no questions. First, if the generation failed our quality gate (the grounding lint flagged invented details after a retry) — we mark the order as failed and refunding is available for 90 days. Second, if you never opened the live host slideshow, the PDF, or the order page after delivery, we treat that as verifiable non-use and refund for 30 days from delivery. If you’ve opened the game and the issue is something else — tone, fit for your event, a specific question — email triviapop@forage.bot and we’ll work it out. We don’t run blanket time-window refunds because the game is downloadable and we’d rather stand behind the work than encourage keep-the-file-and-refund.
Can I see what the game looks like before I pay?
Yes — a full 30-question sample game is on the site, and the live host slideshow is playable. It was produced by the same pipeline paying buyers receive, for a stated fictional honoree.
Do you contact the honoree directly?
No. Triviapop only ever emails you, the buyer. The honoree never gets contacted by us — they just play the game you host.
