Terms of Service

Last updated May 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of triviapop. By placing an order or using a delivered game, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

triviapop is a self-serve tool that turns the facts you supply about a specific person into a personalized 30-question multiple-choice trivia game (live web host slideshow + printable PDF card deck). You enter the honoree’s name, pick an occasion, and write 6–12 facts; we generate the game and email the live host URL plus the PDF.

2. No warranty about how the game lands

triviapop does not guarantee that the audience will react a particular way to the game, nor that it will be the right activity for your event. The output is built entirely from the facts you submit. We do not independently verify them and we do not insert facts you did not supply.

3. Your submissions

You represent that the facts you submit are about a person you know and that you have the right to use those facts in a party game you intend to host. Do not submit highly sensitive personal information, payment card numbers outside Stripe Checkout, or third-party confidential material you are not authorized to share.

4. Pricing, delivery, and refunds

The current listed price for one game is $7 unless a different price is shown at checkout. Delivery normally occurs through the order page and a delivery email after payment clears, typically within a minute.

You may request a full refund within 24 hours through the one-click refund button on the order page. Refund processing is automated through Stripe and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days. After the refund window closes, refunds are discretionary except where non-waivable law requires otherwise.

5. AI limitations

The service uses automated systems and third-party AI providers. The game is generated from the facts you supply, with a prompt engineered to refuse to invent details about the honoree. Distractors (wrong-answer options) are red herrings or playful alternatives — they never make factual claims about the honoree. The output can still be awkward, miss the tonal mark, or include a question that doesn’t fit your room. You should scan the questions on the order page once before the event.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use triviapop to harass, dox, impersonate, or harm the honoree or any audience member. Do not submit facts you know to be false and intended to deceive listeners. Do not use the service to violate the law.

7. License to output

Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, you may host, print, share, and otherwise use the delivered game for personal, non-commercial use at your event. We retain all rights in the service itself, including the site, prompts, software, and operating methods.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, triviapop is provided “as is” without warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
